Tamara Moskvina: Sasha and Dima have decided to change their environment. As coaches, we are not offended. When an athlete comes to me, I warn them right away: no one is keeping you here, we work together as long as you like.
If you feel uncomfortable or feel like you’re not improving – a bouquet of flowers, champagne, thank you. And you’re free, just like we are. A teacher doesn’t hold a student back if they want to go to another school, institute, or city.
We are happy that together with Sasha and Dima, we made them the strongest in the country this season, they grew, they have both programs ready, exhibition programs, quadruple ultra-c elements ready, and they delight the audience.
We wish them to continue improving in another team that we respect.
And we are happy to continue preparing Anastasia Mishina, Aleksandr Galliamov, and other future stars for their next victories, to the delight of figure skating fans.
Me and other high-level coaches have always tried to create a competitive and friendly environment in the group. This is evident by the example of all the coaches of the national team.
For many years, I have been able to maintain this environment, and pairs from our group, competing with each other, have reached the podiums of honor at the Olympic Games.

We will see. I can understand- 2 first pairs every day in training it is difficult. It is in my opinion not possible, that a coach can avoid to have a preference in his feelings for this or that pair, even though he/she gives her very best. This is the same uder the girls with Eteri. I am sure. Here- is this the problem for one pair. I think between these 2 pairs is the best, who will have the better programm. That’s it. I do not know, if this Eteri will manage.
