Kimmy Repond: Great feeling! I’m happy that I managed to skate clean again. When I saw the scores, I was shocked. In general, I get terribly nervous in kiss and cry, even more than before the skate itself because you never know what the judges saw there.
But this is a very successful season for me, so many good skates and a lot of progress in the scores. So, I’m not working in vain – and I like to criticize myself and delve into what I did wrong. But I love skating and I don’t train because I “should”, I just love it so much.
Next season I’m completely moving to seniors, so I’m looking forward to the senior Grand Prix series. I’ll definitely change the free program, but maybe I’ll keep the short.
But what I’m definitely not going to change is my coaching staff. I never tire of repeating that I am happy that my sister coaches me. She is incredible, I will never go to any other coach.
