Polina Tsurskaya to miss Russian test skates 2017
As you probably noticed Polina Tsurskaya isn’t listed among participants of Russian test skates, which are to take place in Sochi, Sept. 9-10 (open for public part). The full list you can see here: Russian test skates 2017
Polina has two Grand Prix – in Japan (Nov. 10-12) and USA (Nov. 24-26), so her absence at the test skates is quite strange and leads to sad thoughts about the continuing health problems.
Daniil Gleikhengauz gave a comment:
Polina Tsurskaya is preparing for the Grand Prix. We decided not send her to the test skates, so not to force the process of preparation for the Grand Prix.
I hope Polina is ok, because it’s quite unusul when a skater (especially the one who have GP) don’t show up at least at the closed part of the test skates, if he/she isn’t injured or train in another country, for example.
