Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte music choice
It’s the middle of the offseason and we still know little about music choices of the ice-dancers (except the Russian team).
Italian ice dancers Anna Cappellini and Luka Lanotte are one of the first world top skaters who announced their future dances.
- Short dance music – waltz and polka from the operetta The Merry Widow by Franz Lehar.
- Free dance music – medley of Federico Fellini movie soundtracks by Nino Rota, including The Nights of Cabiria, Amarcord and 8½.
Their programs were made by main coach Paola Mezzadri and choreographer Ludmilla Vlasova. But Italian duet came to Canton (USA) to polish the programs with Marina Zoueva and to work on the Ravensburger Waltz with Maurizio Margaglio.
As for me, the great choice of music for the short dance! Operette it’s exactly what they need what suits them a lot. As for free dance, I think it’s an ambitious choice and i’m quite intrigued.
Have you seen new free program of Satoko Miyahara? I liked it very much. Watch video here →
