Korean skater took 12th place. Here’s a translation of her comment about Worlds posted on mfocus.kr.

In the mixed zone after the free skate, You Young said, “The first three jumps were all good, but I think I made a mistake starting from the triple loop when my ankle didn’t cooperate.” She added, “After that, I had a lot on my mind, so the latter part got messed up. I think the result didn’t come out as well as in practice, which is a shame, but I’m delighted to have been able to participate in the World Championships.” She also expressed her determination to prepare harder so she can compete without any regrets in the next season.

Regarding this season, You Young said, “The early part of the season was a little tough and exhausting, but I want to give credit to myself for holding on until the end.” She added, “Of course I’m disappointed with today’s result, but it’s already in the past so I’m trying not to think about it too much.” Despite her ankle not being in good shape and there not being enough time for recovery, You Young shared, “Now that the competition is over, I will manage it well and train again after adequate recovery.”
