Korean ice dance team Hannah Lim and Ye Quan competed this weekend at the Skate America Grand Prix. Scoring 65.49 for the Rhythm dance and 103.62 for the Free dance, the team has achieved a 9th place finish.

“We need to improve the technical aspects, aim for a better GOE, add more speed to the elements, and perform the elements more smoothly,” the team said before the rhythm dance.
Commenting on their free dance, Hannah said, “Today, we digested the program well, and I felt deeply immersed. It was really enjoyable to tell a story on the ice with Ye.” Ye added, “I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but as I performed with Hannah, our emotions rose. I did my best to perform to the best of my ability.”
When asked about the expectations for skating to an emotional French movie OST, “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg,” at the 3rd Grand Prix in France, Hannah chuckled and said, “I just realized it now. We are going to perform in France with French music and a French movie. This is a movie that everyone in France knows. So, I’m looking forward to it more. It seems special. I think the audience will love it. I look forward to performing it better in France.”
