I had two emotions there: incredible joy and 10 days later sadness. What’s next? Another Olympics, and then another one.
At the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, Valieva, as part of the Russian team, won gold in the team event, but the award did not take place due to the anti-doping investigation against the figure skater.
In the individual competitions, she took fourth place.
