Guillaume Cizeron: We decided to take a short break, relax and focus on the galas and tours. We will also be able to do things we didn’t have time for before.
Gabriella Papadakis: It was obvious to us that we would not perform in the fall. We had time to think and we agreed this decision with the French Federation. We don’t know yet when we’ll be back. We need to rest, and this winter we will be busy anyway. Everything will go quickly.

I do not understand why guys commenting the statement are so negative. It’s completely natural to take break after winning every possible medal. I love the French couple – they are memorable and great!!
Isn’t that sweet of them? When the Russian skaters and all were forced out of competition UNFAIRLY, easy for them to say! They make me sick.
I find that statement totally ridiculous.
It’s pointless to compete or watch FS without Russians.
