“Regardless of the type of anti-doping rule violation, and except in cases of complex issues beyond the control of the Anti-Doping Organization and delays on the part of the Athlete, Anti-Doping Organizations must do everything to complete the results management and hold a hearing at first instance within six months from the date of notices [of anti-doping rule violations].”

A spokesman for the World Anti-Doping Agency said that the notification was made on February 8. “As for the investigation being carried out in the entourage of the athlete, I cannot comment on it, since it is ongoing.”
