Renat Laishev: Before Valieva’s tomorrow performance we can only hope that the judges still have a conscience. We Russians still believe in it. Well, the skill of our girl is beyond doubt. She should smash the American rival and the rest of the competitors.

Everyone understands that we are stronger than the Americans. But now politics has a very strong influence on judging. Everyone sees what chaos is happening. Our athletes are underscored – the judges have no embarrassment, no fear, no conscience.
