Alena Kostornaia: It’s hard to say what it feels like. I had thoughts whether to go on the second triple axel or not, maybe I need to show the program well. There were all thoughts about the end of the program.

The coaches were rather not shocked, but laughed when I forgot the steps sequence. I wanted to fix it all, but it only turned out worse. This is a passing stage, it shows that it is worth paying attention not only to jumps, but also to all elements of the program.

I’m trying to recall how Patrick Chan conveyed this music to the audience. I’m trying to imitate him. I would like my programs to be remembered, to be different, to be a benchmark at some stage.
