Evgenia Medvedeva will skate to “Memoirs of a Geisha” next season

After her performance Evgenia told that she skated with a leg injury that she got during the warm-up before the short program:
It wasn’t easy for me to skate today because I had to fight and overcome pain. But I’m glad that I managed to do that, to some extent it even helped me. I don’t know what exactly happened with my leg. I hope everything is fine. Participation in show is ahead. Coaches and I are already making plans for the next season. We discussed and chose the music for the free program “Memoirs of a Geisha”. It’s very symbolic that I announce this here at the World Cup in Japan.

Can I just say as Japanese person, I don’t really like the thought she will skate as a Japanese. Not just because she isn’t Japanese, but because I don’t really care for her character of being an arrogant, narcissist person. Also, she doesn’t have the good skating skills, which I think would be insult to Japanese, as most Japanese have great skating skills. I don’t want to see a pantomime, open mouth over dramatic mess. Nor do I want to see a bunch of skating with angry face. So, yeah, I don’t her skating and find it insulting she skate to music as a Japanese. I feel like she is pandering to the Japanese fans and I don’t like it.
I don’t like Evgenia’s behavior, she lis a spoiled, egocentric, untreated and cold woman. If she wants a better future she has to change. Learn from Alina Zagitova, she is sweet, grateful, calm, educated, hones she is a wonderful human being. Good luck Evgenia.
It wasn’t your best year, BUT, without any special jump I don’t see a future for you. I loved and admired you…fragile, beautiful on the ice..But everything broke last year. I have seen an evil side of yourself hate and selphisness…Two years ago you were an ice angel…today.. it’s more of a stone evil on ice. I loved you miss G….but,today I am afraid of you.
