Maria Sotskova: I think we can take the whole pedestal

Maria Sotskova thinks that Russian ladies can take the whole pedestal at European Championships 2018 in Moscow.

I think we can take the whole pedestal. But most importantly is to do your job well, the rest is up to the judges. I think that at the upcoming championships Carolina Kostner can provide competition for us, but actually there are enough strong athletes in Europe.

Sotskova also noted that after the national championship psychologically it will be easier for the girls to perform:

In St. Petersburg at the Russian Nationals it was something unreal in terms of psychology. Everyone tried not to show their excitement, but because of that all had gray faces – athletes, coaches and staff. I knew, that it will be difficult, but not like that! This incredible tension you want to forget as soon as possible, now it will be easier – we coped with the main task at this stage. – Maria said.
