French figure skater Adam Siao Him Fa shared his thoughts following his free skate performance at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Games. While his disappointment over the result was clear, Adam’s Instagram post revealed a sense of pride in his journey and determination to come back stronger.

“The Olympics have meant a lot to me since I started figure skating. I always dreamed to be there and I accomplished that dream in 2022,” Adam wrote as he reflected on his Olympic experiences.

“After Beijing, I would have never expected to have the level to fight for a medal either for Worlds or even the Olympics. After the Free Program, obviously I was very disappointed about the result and the performance that I gave. I felt completely out of control,” Adam admitted.

However, his gratitude and perspective remain strong, particularly when considering the progress he has made in recent seasons. “But looking at where I come from and what I’ve been through, not only this season but even further, I’m proud that I’ve been part of this event and being part of the top skaters in the world. On that note, congratulations to all the competitors and Mikhail for winning that gold.”

Adam is already focused on moving forward, vowing to improve and make his mark at upcoming competitions. “It wasn’t my day, but I’ll work harder and stronger to come back to a higher level,” he declared confidently. With the World Championships still ahead, Adam has redirected his energy toward finishing the season on a high note.

“The season is not done yet, so now I’ll focus and get ready to come back for Worlds. And last but not least: here we go for a new 4-year journey.”

Expressing gratitude to his coaches and supporters, Adam thanked those who have stood by him through the challenges his skating career has presented. “Thanks to my coaches Cedric Tour, Benoit Richaud, Diego Diabakhate, the teams Franch Figure Skating Federation, Jeux Olympiques, my amazing sponsors, and thanks to the fans for the support. It is a tough sport, but no one ever said it would be easy.”
