Ekaterina Geynish and Dmitrii Chigirev End Partnership

“The pair of Ekaterina Geynish and Dmitrii Chigirev has split following their successful season representing Uzbekistan, which included earning an Olympic quota for the 2026 Milan Games.

According to reports, Geynish has found a new partner, whose name has yet to be revealed, while Chigirev has started working as a coach specializing in harness jumps, longe techniques, and physical conditioning,” a source shared.

In 2024, Geynish and Chigirev switched from representing Russia to competing for Uzbekistan. During their time as a pair, they achieved remarkable success, including:

  • Silver medal at Skate Canada
  • Gold at the Winter Asian Games
  • Securing Olympic qualification for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Games
  • Additionally, the pair placed 10th at the 2025 World Championships and were recognized with the
  • ISU Skating Awards for Best Newcomers after an outstanding season.
