“What do I respect her for? She was a nobody in the sport, yet she managed to create a team. Unlike Plushenko she never had any titles in the sport. She skated in some shows – on a ship somewhere.” Rudkovskaya about Tutberidze

Yana Rudkovskaya praised Eteri Tutberidze’s dedication and accomplishments in figure skating, emphasizing her ability to build a successful team and establish herself as a self-made figure skating coach despite having no prior accolades as an athlete. Here’s a translation of her comments.

Yana Rudkovskaya shared her thoughts on why she deeply respects Eteri Tutberidze during an interview with Evgenia Medvedeva. “What’s positive? When I read her interview (with the magazine The Editorial Opinion May Not Match), I agreed with many of her points. I could just sign off on each of her statements – how to deal with parents, how to handle things in general.”

“What do I respect her for? She was a nobody in the sport initially, yet she managed to create a team. Unlike Evgeni [Plushenko], who was an ‘ultra-C’ jumper, she never had any titles in the sport. She skated in some shows – on a ship somewhere, I don’t know, here and there.

But she came and, through hard work… She has great communication skills and managerial talents. She built an impressive team where there’s someone handling jumps, someone managing programs, and she oversees it all. She keeps everyone in check, and they all work as hard as she does.

She is an absolute fanatic of figure skating, like Tatiana Tarasova, dedicating her entire life to this sport. While Evgeni plays paddle tennis, soccer, hockey, and has a multitude of hobbies, riding motorcycles and such, Tutberidze lives and breathes this job. She is the ultimate self-made woman in the sport. She accomplished everything in her life on her own, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Can you respect her? Absolutely. My respect for this woman is boundless,” Rudkovskaya concluded.

Yana Eteri also looks better in blonde than you do cope well with the fact that she won the blonde off good luck not.
Also Russians love Eteri meanwhile no one knew who the hell you were not even your own country or people outside of your country they all praise Eteri not you get over it, I would not know who you are if it wasn’t for Plushenko I would know who Eteri is due to her work remember that her work speaks for itself what have you done for me and figure skating NOTHING.

  2. Lols real says:

Yana stop giving your 2 cents on Eteri you need to worry about yourself we don’t care the figure skating fans don’t want to hear from you we want to hear from champions and you aren’t one neither is Plushenko. Gold Olympic medals still doesn’t erase the fact that he is disrespectful and a total loser inside get a life and leave Eteri alone.
And please for the love of god maybe take a look inside and realize collaborating with other women would’ve done your academy some good aren’t you tired of the bleachers?
Do some self reflection then you can speak on Eteri until then please be quiet and support her or go away we don’t like you.

What do we respect you for in figure skating yana? Nothing everything about you is unpleasant and ordinary.
