Kevin Aymoz kicked off the Olympic season with a dominant performance at the Masters, reclaiming his Bolero program and achieving an impressive 274.06 points. Here’s a translation of his comments posted on L’Equipe.
“It’s a statement that surprises even me: ‘I’m very satisfied with my Masters – it’s been a very long time since I’ve said that.'”
At 28, Kevin Aymoz presented his Bolero program on Friday, a piece he debuted two years ago during a season cut short by psychological challenges. This powerful program showcases his artistic strengths.
“I worked very hard this summer. In fact, I’ve stayed in the mindset I had last year,” the skater from Grenoble revealed. “The Masters came much earlier this year than usual. As a result, today (Friday) was an artistic and technical training session for me. I removed some elements, replaced others, and I’m very happy with the strategy. This serves as the gateway to the Olympic season.”
