Two-time Estonian champion Eva-Lotta Kiibus, who has struggled with injuries and regaining her form in recent years, had a good competitions in Luxembourg over the weekend. She made a post on her Instagram account:
“It was a season I wish to forget and never experience again. But in order to become the best version of me, I must look back and learn from it. I will take and give place to the heavy and dark moments, but I will also cherish the light and bright times.
Yesterday, after a very long time, happy tears were rolling down my cheeks. No, I didn’t make a personal best or break the world record :) But it was a huge personal win, I got worlds scores for next season, and managed to put out the best version of myself at the very last chance. Finally something that reminds me of me.
I wouldn’t have been able to do all this without the people around me. My biggest bow goes to Thomas Kennes (Eva-Lotta’s coach – ed.) for his admirable dedication and strength and to my psychologist. And to my mom, my superhuman, who manages to be there for me even from far away.
I thank you all, for your support and belief in me. I will keep my head up and step by step come back on my path.”

Hmm… perhaps she shouldn’t blame her old coach all the time while she herself starts a secret love affair with the coach. The coach likes to hang out with more girls btw and has done so the past months, but that’s her problem.
