Swiss figure skater Alexeia Paganini (22) announced on her Instagram page that she’s retiring from competitive sport.
Paganini is a four-time Swiss national champion and represented Switzerland at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics, finishing twenty-first and twenty-second, respectively.
On October 21st she posted her retirement announcement:
“Hi everyone, I just wanted to share that I’ve officially retired from competitive skating and am looking forward to focusing on performances in ice shows and other exciting projects. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey, especially my parents. I’m so grateful for all the lessons I’ve learned along the way and can’t wait for what’s next!”
