You probably saw how people waved pink banners from the stands. This is Asian art with symbols dedicated to my athletes. For us Russians, it looks like hieroglyphs. In general, fans are trying very hard: they draw posters in support of Kana and Daisuke, make videos, and they even hung a huge banner on a building in the center of Tokyo. Fans show that they appreciate Kana and Daisuke and love and understand the uniqueness of their phenomenon.
In general, it seems to me that if you do not know that Daisuke has been a single skater for many years, you cannot say now that he has only recently been performing in ice dancing.
He and Kana are Pisces according to the sign of the zodiac, which is why they work so smoothly—like a fish to a fish! Last year, I even based their rhythm dance on this water sign. They skated to a Japanese folk song in a folk performance.
