The 26-year-old Aymoz did not advance to the free skate at the European Championships in Kaunas, having secured the 31st place out of 32 participants in the short program.

In the previous season, the skater finished fourth at the World Championships

“The Technical Directorate of the French Ice Sports Federation (FFSG) officially announces Kevin Aymoz’s withdrawal from competitions for the remainder of the current season, emphasizing the priority given to the well-being of the French national team skaters. This decision is part of an effort to dedicate the necessary time to rebuilding solid foundations for the upcoming major events in the next two seasons, including Olympic qualification and the Olympic Games. It reflects the FFSG’s commitment to the overall development of athletes and the pursuit of long-term success.”

How disappointing for him. I LOVE his Bolaro free!!

I am glad that Kevin is taken time off for his mental challenges and health as an athlete regardless of what sports!! He reminded me of Jason Brown and Abbott but he knows how to execute quad jumps to be more competitive… but I am still biased to cheer for my own country but I always give him his accolades for his accomplishments as a figure skater; Kevin is like a diamond in the French skating world !!!
