“We are glad that the competitions ended with a positive result for us. Any Olympic medal should be rejoiced, and the fact that we are not the first today is a good motivation to improve our skates.

We would like not to discuss judging. One might say that the judges with their scores sent us a message: guys, you need to become even better. We are ready for it.”

Aleksandr Galliamov: Definitely it’s “hooray, bronze!”, and not “only bronze”. We are happy with this medal. This is motivation. Getting this medal wasn’t easy.

Even just getting to the Olympics would be a joy, but winning two medals – it’s incredible.

Anastasiia Mishina: For us, this medal means that all our work and the work of our coaches are not in vain. We did everything we could and are very grateful to the coaches and everyone who worked with us. And we are very happy that we succeeded.

Love Anastasia and Alexander! I love how they skate, and as human beings, they are full of grace, humbleness, and class, which is a rare quality among Russian skater athletes. I am a fan already and will follow their career and wish them best of the luck for everything they want!
