Alexa Knierim: The title of world champions does not put pressure, even without it, inside me, I always had a level to which we should strive. So, we go on the ice as usual, we don’t think about titles.

After our first Grand Prix, we worked very hard on various psychological moments. And I see that with every competitions we are getting stronger.

Brandon Frazier: Today there were a couple of technical moments that we could have done better, but in general we are satisfied with the performance. We work and try to be better.

The skaters also told how they feel about the fact that they still have not got their Olympic team medals.

Alexa Knierim: We do not know when we will get our team medals from Beijing. They don’t tell us anything, and we don’t follow the news too much, because – well, what will it change? But if you know where our medals are stuck – write, eh?

Brandon Frazier: No, we absolutely do not care what kind of medals it will be. We had an amazing, championship team in Beijing, we just want a medal that shows that we did well. And what kinds of medal is not important. We just want to hold our box in our hands.
