Elena Vaitsekhovskaya: In this whole story with a very intricate plot from grandfather’s glass to the doctor’s dismissal on the eve of the decisive stage of the trial (what a coincidence!), I have a question that has nothing to do with the figure skater.

If the doping case is recognized, which, as I understand it, is not excluded, given that we have WADA, the IOC and the International Skating Union on the side of the plaintiff, six people, including Kamila, will lose the title of Olympic champion.

This public and highly scandalous humiliation is a much more serious thing than the bonuses already paid and the awards given for the Olympic victory.

Because we are not talking about six individual people, but about the Russian team. About a country that was stupidly set up by very specific people with their negligence at the main sports event of the four years. They made a laughingstock out of country.

Moreover, they set it up in all cases. If there was no control. If it was, but they decided that they wiil be lucky. If they pressed and asked. If, if, if…

But attention from this topic is now being diverted by all means. And the topic of ethical codes, a protected person, a brilliant child with a vulnerable nervous organization, and so on is being emphasized.

By the way, if a miracle happens and the medals are not taken away, everything written will still remain relevant. Perhaps even more so.
