Maxim Trankov: It doesn’t make much difference to me where to coach. Aliona has a lot of experience and a lot of knowledge. I think wherever she starts, she is capable of a lot. Aliona proved everything in sports. But the coaching, of course, is not the same – I can say this from my own experience. I can only wish her good luck. It’s great that she decided to pass on her knowledge and experience to future generations. She’s a remarkable person for figure skating.

Everything will depend only on the Dutch Figure Skating Federation. Now there is an unplowed field. Knowing Aliona, I think over time she can lead the Netherlands to Olympic medals.
