Eteri Tutberidze: It is interesting. It seems to me that there is some kind of gap in this discipline. I see that pair skaters, unfortunately, for some reason jump badly. Of course, they spend a lot of time on pair elements, but if they are properly supported, they will jump better.

And I don’t always like their programs. It seems to me that time has gone ahead a little, but some pairs remained.

At the very beginning of my coaching career, I was working with pairs and then switched to ice dance – this discipline was just being created and it was necessary to get acquainted with it. Then I began to train singles and always got great pleasure from work. If I wanted to try new things and I understood that I could achieve a result, I always “harnessed” myself into this business and trained. By the way, quite successfully: both in pair skating, ice dances and single skating”
