Tatiana Tarasova: “Everyone would like to train with Eteri Tutberidze”

Tatiana Tarasova: I really liked all our gold medals. In general, I love only gold. In my work, I tried to have gold. Congratulations to all coaches and athletes who won medals.

As for the reaction of foreigners, contradictory to the spirit of sport, it seems to me that everyone would like to train with Eteri Tutberidze, if you ask them. They have nothing to say there. Huge interest about our athletes. Ours always have a program, music, costumes. We have it in our blood, we cannot do without it. We can’t just put on music and skate to it. We must have some kind of plot, some kind of artistic image, and all this is a decoration of figure skating. And there is even no need to talk about technical side.

The judges could not but give us high scores. I promised myself not to talk about the judges anymore, because I don’t know them. We took ours, that’s all. Do not worry, ours will work and devote all their free and non-free time to this. Ours are very interested in excellent results. Triples, quads – everything will be done.
