Evgeni Plushenko: The training camp was very successful – the base is fantastic, there are all the necessary facilities, that’s why I wanted to go there. Sasha restored the quadruple jumps, everything is ok with the triple axel, and with the flip, and with the loop, with all the jumps. Sure, we still need time to prepare them.

We did two programs with Seryozha Rozanov, these will be two completely different artistic images, new for her. This year the programs will be full with transitions, a lot of work on steps canvases, transitions, step sequences will be, like in men’s single skating, very difficult. If we compare ladies’ and men’s single skating, ledies are inferior in terms of steps patterns. Sergei Rozanov and I had a plan for difficult steps, and, by the way, she deftly makes them.

Now we are working on costumes, they should be interesting. We are negotiating with world designers to have a dress made for her. Sasha feels great, like our other students. We are preparing for junior test skates, expecting that everything will go according to a plan, and then life will tell you what to do next.
