Seeing Patrick holding up that gold medal, and other places, Adam Rippon holding up that bronze medal makes me double down on my perspective that there first week of Olympics should have gone to synchronised skating, and the team event should have been a non-starter. It is a great injustice to synchronised skating that pretend teams (there is no visible unity between team members in the team event — not even they think of themselves as a team) get two chances for medalling with the same routines at the same event, and people who scored really lowly in their team event leverage a gold medal by proxy provided by better team mates in other disciplines. Just not fair any way you look at it.
“Seeing Patrick holding up that gold medal,” Is my sweetest memories of these Olympics)
Lotte, I can’t tell you what Adam was thinking when he selected this “bondage” tuxedo. But, I can tell you that it was designed by Jeremey Scott, creative director of Moschino. The house of Moschino is known for its over-the-top designs. I venture to guess that Adam was looking to make a statement (God knows what the statement was other then “look at me!”) :-)
Oh, FSGossips, you know quite a lot about fashion, so you possibly have and idea why did Adam wear this… thing at the Oscars?
He wore tuxedo by by Moschino. I guess the main reason was “epatage” or maybe he’s fan of 50 Shades of Gray)
