Figure skater Mihhail Selevko has announced that he is ending his cooperation with his current coach, Irina Kononova, and will continue under the guidance of new coaches.
The younger of the Selevko brothers, 23-year-old Mihhail, made a social media post on Tuesday stating that he is changing coaches.
“Hi everyone, I have decided to begin a new chapter in my career and continue with a new coaching team.
This was not an easy decision, and it comes after a great deal of thought. I have skated with this team my entire life, and I am deeply grateful for all the years of work, support, and dedication from my coaches. I will always value everything I have learned during our time together.
Now I am looking ahead to the next stage of my journey and am excited for what is ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey and let’s begin this new chapter together.”
