Tatiana Tarasova called on the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) to reach out to the International Skating Union (ISU) to clarify the situation regarding Russian skaters’ participation in competitions. Here’s a translation of her comments.
“I don’t know if the ISU will raise this issue, but our leadership needs to be there as well. I think we should be the ones to bring it up. We’ve already ‘served’ our four years, so what does the ISU want now – to level us with the ground? But we’re ready to compete.
It’s time to write some kind of letter to the ISU to clarify the situation. Because we can’t keep being completely in the dark about what will happen next year,” said Tarasova.
