Figure skater Adeliia Petrosian shared her feelings after winning gold, emphasizing that hard work, strong character, and a bit of luck are the keys to success. Here’s a translation of her comments.

“After every victory, I start working from scratch, from zero. When I win gold, it marks the end of one stage and the beginning of preparation for the next.

My first significant gold was at the international junior Grand Prix stage in Ljubljana. That was a very important event for me because I needed to qualify for the final. I felt joy, of course, some relief, and a little pride.

Stepping onto the ice is mostly about discipline. We go out on the ice in all sorts of conditions, and you have to show your best no matter how you feel.

Inspiration itself can come during the performance. An ideal skate is well-executed technical elements, a certain lightness in the program, and clearly expressed emotions. I think the audience responds well to that kind of energy.

The secret to gold is hard work, strong character, and a bit of luck,” Petrosian said in a video published on the “Khokhloma” brand’s Telegram channel.
