Czech ice dance team Natalie Taschlerova and Filip Taschler have decided to leave their long-standing training base in Egna/Neumarkt, Italy, where they worked under Matteo Zanni, and relocate to Helsinki to train under another Italian coach, Maurizio Margaglio. The Czech Figure Skating Association confirmed the coaching change for the Czech ice dance siblings ahead of the Olympic season.
The Taschlers announced their departure from the current training base on social media.

Maurizio Margaglio, the head coach of the Helsinki training center, won the European and World Championships in ice dance in 2001 alongside Barbara Fusar-Poli. They also earned Olympic bronze in 2002.
The Taschler siblings achieved their best results at major competitions in 2023, finishing sixth at the European Championships and eighth at the World Championships. At two earlier European Championships, they placed seventh and tenth.
