Earlier figure skater Sofia Samodelkina (17) announced that she is training in Kazakhstan and the Figure Skating Federation of Astana City told that Sofia will have a try-out to train with Rafael Arutyunyan.

“I can say this: everybody is welcome here. Unless it’s a pre-Olympic season, and you’re not a skater at the level of Sasha Trusova. Because then there’s too little time and too much responsibility. In the case of Samodelkina, the situation is this: it’s not the first time they have reached out to us requesting a meeting, and this time we agreed and invited them for a try out. Primarily so they can see what training in America is like, because they have no idea yet. We, in turn, will also watch them, here without any guarantees or promises. Anyone can come to us for a try-out, but everything will depend on the girl herself, on how she trains and how seriously she needs it,” Maya Bagriantseva reported Arutyunyan’s words.
