Designer Alena Kuklacheva posted on her Instagram that she is ending her work with figure skater Alena Kostornaia. She also shared a screenshot of her message to Alena, requesting the return of costumes taken for the show.

“This is the last work for Alena Kostornaia. I terminated cooperation with her in the new year for several reasons,” Kuklacheva posted in her stories.

She also posted a screenshot of her message to Alena: “Alena, send me all the show costumes by courier that you haven’t paid for. We agreed that you would return everything except the competitive ones. Also, the wreath (Bremen Musicians) and the last crown of the swan). These are Irina Konovalova’s accessories. And we are waiting for payment for the SP and FS.

I have prepared your dresses and items. I’ll send them as soon as you send to me.

I will no longer collaborate with you.”

Shortly afterward, Alena responded, “I don’t remember when changing a designer became a worthy topic. You know, people do a lot for hype. The question is whether I need it. On the fence too much what is written and not worth believe everything,” – published Kostornaia’s response on R-Sport.”

A bit later the designer answered some questions from her followers, providing more details about the situation. Some people advised her to sue Kostornaia.

Talented designers worked on the recent costumes within tight deadlines, just for a post on her account. And they didn’t receive what was promised. For her, it’s just a minute of time to write a post. But there are no posts! She set me up in front of others. And the costumes for the short program (SP) and free skate (FS) remain unpaid. We hope they will be paid for.”
