It was previously announced that the International Skating Union (ISU) did not discuss the issue of allowing Russian skaters to participate in international competitions during the organization’s meeting in Lausanne.

“I was not surprised at all that the ISU ignored the agenda regarding Russia’s return to figure skating. Nothing will change until we achieve victory in the political arena. Unfortunately, politics plays a significant role in sports today. So, until we win in Ukraine, nothing will change,” said Alexander Zhulin.
