The Czech Figure Skating Association commented on Dario Cirisano’s transfer. And also a comment from Romain Haguenauer.
Cirisano is training with Czech skater Denisa Cimlova in Montreal. Previously, he competed for Russia with Irina Khavronina, but their partnership ended in January.
On May 18, it became known that the Figure Skating Federation of Russia (FFKR) did not allow Cirisano to transfer to the Czech national team.
“We still have not received any official response from the Figure Skating Federation of Russia,” said the Czech Figure Skating Association.
Coach Romain Haguenauer talked about the preparation of the duo Dario Cirisano and Denisa Cimlova.
Previously, the Figure Skating Federation of Russia (FFKR) did not allow Cirisano to transfer to the Czech national team, where planned to compete in ice dance with Cimlova.
The skaters continue to train at the academy in Montreal.
“Dario and Denisa are currently working on their basic and technical elements. As for choreography and programs, I cannot say anything because Dario’s release has not been issued yet,” said Haguenauer.
