However, the final decision on the term of punishment (or even acquittal) can be made after the end of the Games in Beijing, as happened four years ago with curler Alexander Krushelnitsky and bobsledder Nadezhda Sergeyeva.

At the same time, the ROC team is almost guaranteed to be deprived of gold medals in the team tournament. At the moment, the IOC is under serious pressure on this matter, part of which is the publication of confidential information on the British portal Inside the Games.

We have to take this situation very seriously. No one would believe that a typical 15 year would set out to take performance enhancing medications. However, there are atypical circumstances that can occur with anyone at any age. And there are coaches and parents who will do anything at any cost for their children to finish first. Suspension should be immediate and a deep investigation must follow. The coaches must also be suspended.

You are the US National Enquirer of skating news… So irresponsible in your reporting. Done with you and your site.

This is OVER THE TOP lies. I cannot believe it, not one iota of it. They are punishing Russia politically. She and her coaches would NEVER allow any of those girls to do drugs. Why would she need it being 15 years old. She has to be devastated. The Russian team has to be devastated. Putin needs to intervene! She should be tested IMMEDIATELY by an outside doctor!

Is this confirmed or a speculation?

Oh no! I want gold for Sasha, but NOT THIS WAY! I do not believe that Kamila intentionally doped!
