As for the possible punishment for Valieva, we can look in the WADA code what sanctions are provided for certain violations. The standard term under the code is four years. But the DAC (Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee) may make different decisions depending on the circumstances. In the future, this decision can be challenged in different instances.
