Evgenia Medvedeva: A hypocrite’s.

What superpower would you like to have?

Evgenia Medvedeva: Teleportation.

What do you regret the most?

Evgenia Medvedeva: Surprisingly, nothing. There were many events that I thought I would regret later, but after a few years, thinking about each of those events, I feel grateful that they happened. Everything in my life seems to turn in such a way that if I make a mistake or mess up something specific, it eventually comes back to me in a positive way.

Who would you like to have a conversation with among those who are no longer alive?

Evgenia Medvedeva: Figure skater Sergei Grinkov, the two-time Olympic champion who tragically passed away on the ice.

Name your favorite Soviet and modern film.

Evgenia Medvedeva: I like the Soviet film “Devchata” (“Girls”) and the modern British series “Sherlock.”

Is there a deed you are still ashamed of?

Evgenia Medvedeva: Well, I’m quite an audacious girl, so I’m not particularly ashamed of anything.

Which book character would you like to be?

Evgenia Medvedeva: Mostly, I read educational literature for self-improvement. It turned out that I read very little during school years, so I haven’t really read those classic stories. But one of my favorite books is “The Master and Margarita” by Bulgakov. Maybe Margarita. Despite the dramatic story, I resonate with her character and vibe.

What was the name of your first love?

Evgenia Medvedeva: I can’t say that. It’s not just my secret.

What do you need for happiness?

Evgenia Medvedeva: For happiness, I need love.

Your most cherished wish?

Evgenia Medvedeva: To live my whole life with a person with whom I’ll be happy from the beginning to the end.

What is strength?

Evgenia Medvedeva: I won’t answer. I have a slightly different opinion. I believe strength lies in love.

A dream that you gave up on?

Evgenia Medvedeva: Olympic gold. A dream that is no longer destined to come true. And it’s like, it’s okay. Not that it makes me feel unhappy or anything.

The action you are proud of?

Evgenia Medvedeva: My pre-Olympic trip to Lausanne for the closed IOC summit. I was an official speaker representing our Olympic committee to get our country allowed for team events at the 2018 Olympics. I made a significant contribution to ensure that our hockey team participated, and in the end, the guys won. As a result, we, figure skaters, had the opportunity to compete in the team event.

We had the chance to win two medals. From that Olympics, I brought back two silvers, one of which was from the team event. And it was mainly thanks to my speech at the time that the team event took place for us. I am proud of this action.
