Ereti Tutberidze: We even wanted to withdraw from the competition

Alina Zagitova and Eteri Tutberidze about this season and World Championships 2019.

Alina: I began to feel completely different, to approach training with a completely different mindset. I build a plan for myself and try to accomplish it. For me it was important that I showed good results this season. But our careers are moving up and down, it’s impossible to move only up. It was necessary to overcome, endure – it is difficult, but possible.

It was very hard, but my relatives, coaches helped me a lot, found the right words to motivate me.

At first, I didn’t really understand the short program, I couldn’t get used to the role. The coaches helped, explained what to put in each movement. By the end of the season, I’ve already understood and showed the emotions that were needed. The free program I get from the beginning, I liked the music.

The main thing is to perform my content. It helps me to stay on the podium. When the time comes to change something, I’ll try.

Eteri: We came to Japan with thoughts to go on the ice. The preparation was very hard, it was morally difficult. On Saturday we even wanted to withdraw from the competition. But we didn’t, we all together, including Alina and the federation, decided that we would go and fight.

Ones more congratulations, very proud of you! Keep working hard and don’t pay attention to hatters, they’re losers full of envidia. Love you ⛸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
