Daniil Gleikhengauz: Kamila has moved to senior skating, but not yet completely – unfortunately, we will not see her at the Grand Prix in Moscow, her age doesn’t allow. We’ll be sad.

We continue to work on the programs, especially on the free program – so that there are no misfires, as it happened at the Russian Cup in Moscow. Knock on wood, we like how she skates now. She trains every day, sometimes she does “three and a half plus three” (triple axel – triple toe loop), but it’s too early to say that we will insert this into the programs. But it is necessary to do it this season.

At the Moscow stage of the Russian Cup, Valieva made a number of mistakes in the free program, including two falls. Coming off the ice, the athlete pointed at the boot.

“Shoelaces? She also told us that. An athlete must always find a problem not in himself – this is a natural process,” Gleikhengauz said.

I just watched Kamila again and words fail. She is the closest skater to perfection since Zagitova, and she will become the world’s greatest of all time if she continues to allow the beauty of her heart and spirit to flow through her as she skates.
She is everything you could want in an athlete and a person and much more. You can see the loveliness that she is in every spin and jump in every breath she takes. Her skating is far more than a performance. Something divine shines through her artwork. No one can stop her. She is superb now and she improves all the time. Her coaches and all of Russia should be thankful for her. Her parents have done a magnificient job training her to be a bright ray of sunshine for that is who she is. People like Kamila grace our world once every thousand years or so but Russia has three: Alina, Anna Shcherbakova and Kamila all at the same time. Extrodinary. I hope Russia comprehends how truly remarkable she is to be the home of these precious young ladies.

Kamila Valieva is wonderful. She has so much character and beauty and skill. She is so extraordinary. Her poise and her athleticism are phenomenal. Be kind to yourself, Kamila! You are exceptionally awesome. Who you are deep down shines through your countenance. You are very young. Keep practicing. You are only 13 years old and you are performing with the greatest figure skaters in the world! Congratulations. You got to this point through tons and tons of very hard work. If you never win one single competition (and you will) you have proven how lovely and strong and disciplined and talented you are! Your heart screams champion. Everythging about you shouts winner and excellence–mostly in your heart of hearts. You can become as good as you decide to be. Truly exceptional in every way, Kamila. You are absolutely AMAZING.

Poor Kamila, the pressure on her young shoulders is enormous. There isn’t much going on Danil’s head judging by these comments.

They need a new star and a 100% claim for the Olympic gold. Probably they lost their believe in Anna Scsherbakova as team Tutberidze No1.
