Daniil Gleichengauz: Shoma Uno showed us that you can work a little less and still achieve very good results
Daniil Gleichengauz about off-season work Shoma Uno and Satoko Miyahara.
Daniil: This summer, about 3-4 weeks, Shoma trained with us. And he showed us that you can work a little less and still achieve very good results.
He and Miyahara are absolute opposites. Satoko is an example of incredible hard working person, a person who did not have great talent, but she works so much … even for these exhibitions, she arrived an hour and a half before to stretch her legs. She has an incredible attitude, professional one.
Shoma, on the contrary, is an incredibly talented athlete who, for example, may not warm up at all, do not cool down, does not know what general physical preparation is, but then he goes on the ice and makes simply incredible elements. But still, any athlete needs a coach.
That’s what Gleichengauz told on air on Russian Channel One during Rostelecom Gala.
