Anastasiia Gubanova: I’m more than satisfied with my skating today. Yes, there was a problem on a spin, but, in general, I coped well.
To be honest, I was very nervous before the start, the preparation was very difficult mentally, I can’t say that I was one hundred percent ready for this event. But this is already my second European Championships, so I somehow found the strength to calm down. I tried to skate in such a way as to have fun.
We prepared for the competitions as usual. The main task was to skate clean. Much attention was paid to transitions and jumps, of course.
Do I feel like one of the favorites to win? Well, I feel it, but it doesn’t bother me.
