From September 6th to 8th, the Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova will conduct a master class in the city of Queretaro.
Alexandra Trusova: For me, this is a new experience, and I’m very pleased to have been invited. I’ll do my best to meet the expectations. It’s great to see so many fans and supporters; it’s really cool. I’ll try to make them happy.
Please tell us about your new projects. What about your involvement in shows, both in Russia and abroad?”
Alexandra Trusova: Yes, there are currently many different events. I participate in various shows both in Russia and abroad. And now I’m here for the master class. It’s a different and interesting life, and I’m really interested in trying all of it.
What advice would you give to the new generation of figure skaters who are just starting out?
Alexandra Trusova: I would say, just believe in yourself. And if you really want something, it will definitely come true. To those attending the master class, I wish them good luck and encourage them to listen and try to remember and repeat everything later.
When they called you and offered to come to Mexico, how did you react? Did you start looking up things to do in Mexico or something like that?
Alexandra Trusova: Of course, I was very excited, but I came here primarily to work, so I know what to do. I think we’ll have one day to go somewhere and see something, which will be very interesting. But in the first place, I’m here to work and maybe teach children something.”
Can you please tell us if you want to compete again? Or is that stage already over?
Alexandra Trusova: Honestly, I don’t answer such questions. I live in the present, and I do what I have now. I perform in shows, train, participate in exhibitions, and give master classes. Competitions? Will see later.
Do you already have a group of students in Russia? Do you want to continue doing this or what are your plans?
Alexandra Trusova: I don’t have a group of students. I sometimes give master classes, and sometimes there are individual training sessions when there are specific requests.
I don’t have a group. Sometimes I help children or just train with them, but I don’t have a group.
