Aleksandra Boikova and Dmitrii Kozlovskii have switched to the group of Eteri Tutberidze
Figure skaters Aleksandra Boikova and Dmitrii Kozlovskii have switched to the group of Eteri Tutberidze.
This was reported by “Sport-Express”. Boikova said in a conversation with the publication that she would refrain from commenting, but “there will be official information soon.”
Boikova and Kozlovskii, who compete in pairs, were trained under the guidance of Tamara Moskvina. According to “Sport-Express”, the relationship between the coach and the students was far from ideal.
“We, with Dima and Tamara Nikolaevna’s team, have come a long way for 7 years. We are grateful for our first steps in pair skating and for the victories we achieved during this time.
But we have made the decision to move forward and try something new. Therefore, we are joining Eteri Georgievna Tutberidze’s team.
We hope that this path will be happy and successful for us. Thank you to everyone who has been and will be with us,” Boikova posted on her Instagram
“We have made a decision to change our group and join the team of Eteri Georgievna [Tutberidze]. We worked with Tamara Nikolaevna [Moskvina] for seven years, we started our pair career with her, and we collaborated with her school until now. But at this stage of our career, we need changes for further growth and development.
We did not hide our intentions from Tamara Nikolaevna. We parted on a very good note, it couldn’t have been otherwise. We won all the awards in pair skating with her, and we have deep respect for the experience that Tamara Nikolaevna gave us.
Eteri Georgievna is a very strong coach, we have been watching her group from the sidelines. She has assembled a strong team, including in pair skating. We wanted this (to join Tutberidze’s group), and after agreeing with her on the transition, it became possible. This is our initiative,” said Kozlovskii.
“We will start working together at the summer training camps. We will solve everyday issues as they arise. I am confident that there will be no difficulties with this,” added Kozlovskii.
Daria Usacheva: “I’ve restored all my triple jumps, and there are no obstacles for performances in single skating.”
