Sochi Olympic team champion Julia Lipnitskaya and choreographer Dmitri Mikhailov got married. Earlier, media reported that Lipnitskaya and Mikhailov were married in June, and at the end of September, the couple had a son.
“Friends, good day to all.
For the first time, I find myself needing to make a compelled address…
Yes, Julia and I got married. And for both of us, this marriage is the first. We recently had a wonderful child, and it’s truly a blessing!
We would have calmly shared this when we felt it was right.
Thank you very much to everyone who congratulated our family on these events! Also, thanks to those journalists who did not (without any confirmation) expose our personal life to the media, absolutely violating personal boundaries.
When the time comes, we will happily show you our son.” Mikhailov posted on his Instagram.
Julia Lipnitskaya also has a daughter named Katalina with Vlad Tarasenko, who joined the Russian army during the invasion of Ukraine.”

To FS Gossips: It’s common to have confirmation bias;) People on the both sides have it…
To FS Gossips: As an example, read about Cuban missile crisis. And then try to imagine what might happen if Russia installs its missiles on the Mexican boarders… Do you think US was an aware of what they were doing in Ukraine…?;)
It’s just an attempt to make excuses for the aggressor when there are none. Russia is the aggressor here; they invaded another country and started a war. There’s no justifying that. Anything else is just blaming the victim.
Don’t forget that Tarasenko could have stayed at home (it was a mistake, that he got the invitation).
Yulia suported him to go very much.
And found another one very quickly.
I am starting to understand, why Averbuch and Tutberidze talked about her not only possitive.
Sorry for my English.
To FS Gossips: I am against the war. But Russia and its leader might have felt threatened by the actions US were conducting in Ukraine… It’s actually not that simple. And this side of the story is not part of the western mainstream media/propaganda.
What US actions are you referring to? If you mean Ukraine’s aspiration to join NATO, as an independent state, Ukraine has every right to do so as well as pursue membership in any economic, political, or trade union. Furthermore, Ukraine was not even close to joining NATO. None of these factors could legitimately justify starting a war. The primary reason Russia started this war and invaded Ukraine is quite straightforward – they desired more territory. Observing that there was little global response to their previous invasions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk, they believed this invasion would proceed similarly.
To FS Gossips: Maybe he felt he was protecting his country, his wife and his daughter? Unfortunately, there is a lot of propaganda, on both sides… Hoping all three (Julia, Nikita and Vlad) will find their happiness.
Did someone invaded his country? Stroke it with missiles? Killed his close ones? No. But if you first go to another country with weapons and kill people there you’re the aggressor. It’s really that simple.
To FS Gossips: I do not think this personal story has any political context. Maybe the farther is a proud guy who did not want to cheat the system. You may have your opinion about the system but this is the framework he has got.
Sorry, but when proud started to equal readiness to kill people? I think any good person would do everything in their power not to become a killer who goes to another country to kill people (especially when they have all the possibilities no to). This personal story has political context since many in Russia started to blame Julia for being not patriotic and betraying her “hero” husband who went to war.
First, her first partner was drafted, he did not volunteer to fight for the Russian army, and second, it was completely her choice, and still is, to marry and be with whom she chose. I simply think these weren’t the best decisions
No, many male skaters/coaches/choreographers received a summons back then but no one else went to war. He also could have not to.

JAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJJAJAJJAJAJA Yulia es muy mala, debió pedirte permiso :c
I’m not signifying that either child is lesser, both have equal standing, yet one is illegitimate, born out of a past relationship that didn’t even last. I don’t say all of this to shame Yulia, her husband, or children, but how will she explain this? What will she say? Did she love her former partner, I presume so, yet I find it hard to see how she can have a child, leave the guy, fall in love, become pregnant again, and marry. What is she doing for her first child? It seems to me that she moved on too easily, how is her relationship with her daughter? Look, I’m happy she’s married, has a child, good for her, yet, part of me screams “are you serious?!!! How can you???!” I can’t get over it. I hurt for the daughter, for the former lover, it makes them seem insignificant since she can move forward so easily. I’m sorry, but that’s how I feel. I feel as she has abandoned them without a second thought. I intend no maliciousness, this is simply how I feel.
Why we’re talking about Julia only? What about the father? He left Julia with a small child and went to kill people in another country as a volunteer.
What’s actually disgusting is calling a child bastard, implying that child is ‘lesser than’ a child born to married parents. Guess what: despite best intentions, relationships don’t always work out and people break up. No one has a baby with their partner thinking “I can’t wait to dump them and have another kid with someone else”. Life happens. Circumstances and people change. Get over it.
I’ll be honest, this is disgusting. First, you have a bastard child with a guy, presumably break up with him, when the war starts, or as reports say “separated”, then fall in love with another guy, get pregnant, get married, and now, the child is basically born out of wedlock. I would expect better out of an Olympic champion, out of a grown woman, but this is what happens when you live in ‘sleep around with whoever captures your heart’ mindset, no consequences, hey, move on after that one. What will you say to your daughter and son, Yulia, when they ask/learn about their birth, and their mother?
