Morisi Kvitelashvili: I’m not happy with my skating, of course. I have been constantly having some health problems lately: sometimes an injury, then suddenly a fever, there is no normal training process. The leg hurts after injury I had in autumn.
In Moscow (I came home for the holidays) I did everything I could: physiotherapy, laser, different procedures, even an MRI. The doctors said that there is inflammation of the bone marrow, which does not sound very good, I agree, but at least it’s not a fracture.
There were a lot of mistakes in the short program – today I made mistakes on all jump elements, so it was difficult to score decent points in technique. Each jump threw me lower and lower.
The elements on which I should score points did not go at all – they did not work out. In general, my performance here can hardly be called successful. The free program will not change anything, but I will go and do what I can.
