Kostornaia switched from Eteri Tutberidze to Buyanova in February. In social networks, the 18-year-old figure skater noted that Tutberidze initiated the breakup. Later it became known that the cooperation between Kostornaia and Buyanova is currently temporary – the coach took time to think whether they could work on an ongoing basis.

As I understand it, cooperation with Buyanova is still temporary?

Alena Kostornaia: As Elena Germanovna said, so it is. I don’t decide this issues.

Are you comfortable working with her?

Alena Kostornaia: I feel good with her.

   Alena is so talented and memorable.. Hoping to see her again on the bigger stage. She is one of my absolute favourites.
