Yuzuru Hanyu commented on to reporters the performance in the short program:

“I think the mistake on the salchow happened because I got into a hole in the ice. It seems to me that this is the reason. I already had such situation in Saitama at the World Championships.

Everything was great in the warm-up. So everything is fine, we have a second program to fix everything. I will work hard for this. In the free program I will try the quadruple axel.

Why did I arrive later? This was my original plan. I think it was correct. I feel good, no problems”

It’s not pathetic. There was a lot of evidence for the hole in the ice and you could also clearly see the lines his skate made when he attempted to take off. The chances of this happening is incredibly small given how big the rink is but it’s not impossible. It’s presumptuous of you to say that “everyone skates on the same ice” when it’s obvious that the first person to take the ice after it’s been cleaned has a smoother surface than someone going later. This is evident for any amateur that has touched the ice with skates.
Furthermore your argument about “others” being better than Yuzuru – who? Nathan Chen? Of course Nathan’s technical scores have certainly surpassed Yuzuru’s since 2019, but it does not necessarily objectively mean that he’s better. Certainly many of the Russian coaches and skaters acknowledge Hanyu as one of the greatest skaters ever and at his prime was an incredible force to be reckoned with.

Right, blame the ice for your defeat. How convenient and pathetic! Everyone skated on the same ice. Can you not just be a man for once, look at yourself in the mirror, and admit others are simply better than you since at least 2019!
